The Story of the Amazons
The Amazon people were created by the Greek Gods to unite all humanity with love and compassion and were once the greatest nation on earth and they were women.
Threatened by their strength, Ares enlisted Hercules to trick and enslave them. From then on, the Amazon women's wrists were bound together and they were ruled by man.
Eventually, they realized their power and broke free from their chains. When they became free, these women were sent by Aphrodite to Paradise Island where having escaped the oppression of man, they grew stronger.
As part of a pact with Aphrodite, all of the Amazons wore bracelets as a reminder that they must always submit to her. Wonder Woman was an Amazon, a demi-God and daughter of Zeus. Her bracelets were her shield and harnessed her power. They protected others by keeping the force of her strength contained.
Ultimately, the bracelets represent the need to balance our divine strength by submitting to love. To be divinely feminine is to be loving AND strong.
